Kelly Parry

I am a highly motivated and experienced Nursery Manager with a proven track record of providing excellent childcare and educational experiences for children aged 0- 5 years. I understand the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) regulations. I am dedicated to creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can thrive during their play experiences. Adept at leading and developing teams, fostering positive relationships with staff, parents, and children, and ensuring that nursery operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a strong commitment to professional growth and achieving exceptional results. I joined Daisy Chains Day Nursery almost 18 years ago as a student on a work placement and progressed through various roles to become a Nursery Manager, a position I've held for the past 10 years. During my time as Nursery Manager, I am proud to have led the nursery to become one of the most successful in the area. Now, I am seeking a new challenge where I can use my skills and experience to make a significant contribution to the development and well-being of the children and my team, while also enhancing my professional journey.

• Consistently achieved and maintained high CIW inspection ratings. Receiving 'excellent' in all areas in our 2020 inspection and again in our most recent inspection in 01/2024.
• Reduced staff turnover through effective leadership and team development strategies.
