Currently working as a theatre educator working with student and apprentice ODP's to ensure they are achieving competencies and skills needed to complete the ODP programme and are safe in practice. I still work clinically to maintain my own skills and knowledge. some key skills

worked as a operating department practitioner for many years in paediatrics, although my area of work was liver transplants and emergency theatre as a valued staff member I would cover all specialities including oncology and always maintained my skills in all 3 areas of practice although now prefer anaesthetics or recovery. I still cover shifts for the children's hospital if they are short as this helps me maintain my paediatric skills and knowledge.
