  • Meetings around requirements and processes face to face and over teams building professional relationships with the business, insurance companies, and other hospitals
  • As the (MDT) Multi-disciplinary lead I coordinate all specialties including suspected cancers and patients that may be at high risk so this is a crucial role
  • The meetings take place prior to surgery, revision (after) and urgent treatment plans to guarantee the best outcome for the patient
  • Prior to the meeting I collate information for the patients that need discussing in the meeting ensuring I have all relevant imagery/reports. Minutes are then taken on the decision to proceed. The document will be attached to the patient record.
  • In some cases patients may be transferred to other hospitals, I have built relationship with these specialties to ensure we receive feedback on our patients care.
