Course Manager and Lecturer in IT and Computing, with a focus on curriculum development, teaching, and assessment. In my role as Programme Manager for Level 2, I led the selection and development of a new curriculum for both Level 2 IT and Creative Media, while also designing innovative units of work for Level 3 IT and Media, Level 4 IT, and Level 5 IT.

I collaborated with my team to create all necessary teaching resources to support these new schemes of work. Additionally, I designed, organized, and delivered IT courses for Year 6 students from local schools, as well as Taster Days for Year 10 and 11 students. I established a student-led technology group, which developed teaching resources for delivery in local primary schools.

The exam board syllabuses I have been involved with are the OCR Nationals Level 2 for Keystage 4 and the BTEC IT Practitioners at Keystage 5. I have also helped run a website design company within the school and been involved in the setting up of a school magazine. I was acting Head of A Level ICT whilst a new head of department was waiting to take up the role, a position that lasted for 2 terms. I have also been involved in the training of staff into the use of software and systems within the school. I am currently the Lead Internal Verifier for the BTEC Level 3 ICT course offered at the school. I have additionally liaised with the OCR moderator on behalf of our department. My extra curricular activities include running football teams, running booster sessions for ICT and testing software and systems before whole school role-out, this is in liaison with the ICT Technicians.
