My role is developing current products for design improvements, legislation updates, and supplier and production changes.

Handle multiple change and new development projects simultaneously using PRISM or DMAIC to ensure projects meets budget, time and technical requirements, while also being the hygienic responsible person.

Developed and implemented a new way of completing change requests company wide to ensure that all request that are undertaken have a financial benefit to the company while also ensure that any change offers a product improvement. This has lead to a 50% reduction in request backlog

  • Complete root cause analysis and create and implement solutions.
  • Ensure drawings and changes meet international standards.
  • Test, verify, and create engineering reports for new designs and design changes.
  • Liaise with purchasing and suppliers to reduce costs, improve quality and design for manufacture of purchased parts.
  • Work with multiple departments to smooth implementation of changes
  • Approve drawings and changes to maintain responsible product lines.
  • Self manage time and projects to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner, while reporting to project manager on larger projects
