During my school placement, I developed strong communication, organisation, and customer‑focused skills that transfer directly into a retail environment. Supporting children in the classroom taught me how to stay calm under pressure, manage different tasks at once, and respond to people’s needs with patience and professionalism. I worked closely with staff, followed instructions carefully, and maintained a positive, friendly attitude throughout the day which are skills that are essential when working as part of a retail team.
