Volunteer Experience

Home-start, Assistant Manager Volunteer, 2012, 2015, I started volunteering as a shop assistant and was offered an opportunity to gain experience as an assistant manager after 3 months. I would maintain a clean organised inventory and curated displays of rotating seasonal clothing and accessories. I enjoyed anticipating a customer's needs and provided them with a high quality service while upholding the standards and values of the charity to ensure the customer was always satisfied. I helped to meticulously handle the transactions including cash, cards and rarely, exchanges, to ensure an accurate cash flow. I also had the opportunity to work in the offices of this charity while doing my Level 3 ICT at Paignton Secretarial College in 2012 to gain experience in administration.

Community Service

Bumble Bees Nursery (part of Tower House), 2009, 2010, Work experience whilst in year 10 at school. Duties involved helping children aged 18 months to 6-7yrs old with painting, reading, and play activities. I also assisted with setting up the equipment and games and tidied up after each day and generally helped the teacher.

I have two children and a wonderful husband. We like to travel in our spare time and often visit family in Devon and Ireland as well as going for day trips and weekend trips to various locations across the country.
