I'm an international student from Houston, Texas, currently studying for a Master of Arts in Comparative Literature at SOAS, University of London. I have experience fostering community engagement and collaborating with colleagues to create a safe, welcoming environment.
While at WholeFoods my role is in the perishable department. I restock items that are low and take responsibility on the cleanliness of the store. I also help customers who need assistance on finding items that they see fit to buy for their dietary needs.
Contributed to all areas of the Kids Academy, including birthday parties, Parents Night Out events, summer and school break camps, and taught art classes.
In the Kids Academy, I worked with children aged from three months to twelve years old. While the children's parents were working out, me and other team members would engage with the children with activities.
Each week I created lesson plans for my art classes. Such as, fluffy paint, paper mazes, and coffee filter butterflies.
Supervisor of PNO events (Parents Night Out). Where parents would leave their children in team members' care, and we would do engaging activities that match the theme of the week.
During school break camps, I worked as a shift lead. I filled out admin forms, like lunch, swim logs, and allergy. During the summer me and other team members took the children on field trips to places like the zoo, waterparks, movies, and museums.
