I have lead many assemblies for students over my time in education and many parent talks for up to 400 people I am a very confident speaker with a clear voice and am able to project my voice for all to hear in a large room At university I was involved in many plays as an actor and used my vocal skills to enhance my performance

On a daily basis I have had discussions and talks with many people from all walks of life I am known for my ability to be calm and conscientious and my empathy with others

I have always been very well organised and meticulous when it comes to record keeping and ensuring that notes, policies and minutes are up to date and written correctly

The staff I have led over the years have always commented that I am very fair and have an optimistic outlook on life Also, I see the good in other people but can also support them if they are having difficulties I am a good listener and give good advice when needed I am always punctual and lead by example to show others that I am very committed to my work

Affiliations

  • Currently I am retired from teaching but am very busy every day. I volunteer in a Hospice Shop weekly, working behind the till and liaising with customers in this role. I also volunteer at a local centre catering for people from all walks of life. I help in mother and baby groups and preschool children as well.
  • On a near daily basis I attend a local sports centre attending various classes the the gym.
