- Currently I am on the supply lists for both the named councils and both roles as Early Years Practitioner and Early Years Support Assistant.
- I have covered short term positions as well as occasional days to cover staff absences at various nurseries throughout both regions.

- While working at Woodlands I was on a temporary contract which ended Friday 18th June 2021. It was a large nursery with a team of fourteen staff of which I worked under three members of management.
- I had responsibility for five key children, which I recorded, tracked and evaluated their learning and development and also set new targets for them.
- I also gained experience doing learning conversations with parents at the end of each term to discuss their child's progress and development.
- I also wrote reports for the pre-school children I had in my key group.
- Whilst working here I learned some Makaton sign language which was practised throughout the nursery.

- When I started at Sunshine Nursery I was put in the pre-school room with the 4-5 year old children. I was in a team of just myself and one member of staff, responsible for 15 children, this was a change for me as I had always been used to working within bigger teams in larger settings.
- I have found that I enjoy working in both large and smaller settings and can see the pro's and cons of both.
- Sunshine Nursery use online Interactive Learning Diary's, so I gained experience in using this method to record children's learning and development.
- At the end of March 2020 the nursery had to close due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the country going into lock down. I was then put on furlough until August.
- When I returned to work, I was moved to the two year old room as the lead practitioner in there, during the few months that I was in that lead role, it was with a team of three other staff responsible for ten two years old's.
- I completed online COVID-19 training and have experience working under strict cleaning routines and policies and procedures related to the virus.

- During this period of employment, I started off in Lincluden nursery covering temporary positions for two years. I then got a permanent contract in Noblehill nursery and was there around three years, until the number of children dropped and they became overstaffed. I offered to move establishments as I was last to join the team. The council then moved me to Kelloholm nursery and I was there til October 2019.
- My role involved provided a safe and caring environment for children aged 2-5, ensuring all National Care Standards and Care Inspectorate guidelines were met.
- I worked with a diverse group of children and families, including a year of experience working specifically with two-year-olds.
- I was responsible for planning educational activities to promote children's learning and development.
- I participated in team meetings and training to keep up my continuous professional development.
- I developed positive relationships with parents and carers and kept them informed about their child's achievements.

- Whilst working at Tiggerific I gained experience in providing care for children from the age of 6 months to 12 years old on a daily basis, as well as sole charge of 4 -6 children.
- I was responsible for providing the children with a safe, happy and caring environment ensuring they felt comfortable enough to have fun and enjoy themselves.
- I was also responsible for organising and providing stimulating learning activities for the children throughout the day.
- I also gained experience in running the business on my own as I took over from my boss whilst she was on maternity leave for 4 months, also when she went on holiday or when her daughter or herself were unwell.
- Whilst solely in charge I was responsible for handling the cash coming into the business and also paying out any necessary expenses. I managed the child payment records including each child's weekly hours.
- I also opened and closed the building on time.
