I am a hard working individual and can work well on my own and as part of a team. I have been working along side children and have been supporting children learning for a period of time. I am now interested in creating a new career path and keen to set myself some new challenges and goals.

I have a strong duty of care in my role to ensure myself , children, staff and parents and carers have a safe environment. My role as a practitioner is to make sure I am putting the needs of the children first to ensure I am helping them becoming confident individuals to achieve milestones and goals throughout their pre school year. I have a large responsibility to look after over 50 children in a session followed by a team of 15 other colleagues to work along side.
My role as a Lead Practitioner was to support a large team and to help them stay motivated in their job role to provide the best service for our nursery and for the families.
As a leader it was important I demonstrated great role model skills and excellent communication skills with my team to ensure all views and opinions are appreciated and respected from my team to help have a harmonious setting for the children.
I took an opportunity to work with younger children to gain more knowledge and confidence in my practice. I took the challenge to see if I would enjoy working with younger children as my previous ages are 3-5s. Whilst working a very short amount of time I realised very quickly this was not suitable for myself.
I had the responsibility to lead and delegate a large team. I ensured I listened and respected any opinions and suggestions that was passed my way. I had large duty to ensure paperwork and rota's were completed daily to ensure I was meeting the standards of care by following the correct documentation.
I had the responsibility to help young children learn and develop in their learning years.
I had a duty of care to ensure I was looking after elderly patients to a high standard of care. My role was to make sure I was meeting their personal needs as individuals.
I did this role on a part time basis until I was able to gain more working hours in a salon to progress my career as a hairdresser.
I started off as trainee hairdresser working a small amount of hours on a Thursday and Saturday. I was there to assist the senior stylists by washing clients hair , cleaning up duties.
I then progressed to a qualified hair stylist and gained my own clients and gave them my own services. I provided a range of services such as cutting, colouring, perming. I handled personal information about my clients and became more responsible dealing with finances.
I am interested in Music with a bubbly personality to match. I love making people laugh and feel heard and seen. I enjoy socialising with my friends and family.
