In 2010 as a newly qualified ODP when I started my employment as a Band 5 ODP in Manchester Royal Eye Hospital theatres.

Duties I carried out were:

  • patient vital signs during procedures, alerting medical staff to any changes.

  • Prioritised tasks in critical situations to optimise patient outcomes.
