Summary

I am a current Foundation Year 2 doctor working in the UK. I have a strong interest in acute and critical care medicine and am interested in an Emergency Department RMO role. I have experience working in a busy Emergency Department, where I became confident in the assessment and management of acutely unwell patients, developed a range of clinical skills, and gained resuscitation experience.

Quality Improvement Projects and Audits

Head Injury Proforma - 2026

I am involved in a QIP aiming to improve the admission of patients with head injuries from the Emergency Department on to the Urgent Care Observation Unit. We designed a proforma to reduce the mistakes commonly made by doctors, including anticoagulation, neurosurgery input, and monitoring of the patient's GCS.

No More Grey Wednesdays - 2025

I was involved in a QIP aimed to help foundation doctors starting in their new roles. We made posters detailing essential information for each specialty to help ease the transition onto the wards.

Teaching

Medicine-on-call teaching programme

I set up and ran a teaching programme for 5th year medical students to help them prepare for their first medicine-on-call shifts. In a series on tutorials, we talked about common bleeps to receive overnight, key presentations, how to prioritise tasks, and how to mange stress and well-being.

Presentations

I have delivered numerous presentations at departmental teaching, Grand Rounds, and M&M meetings.
