Katherine Stones

I volunteered at Kenninghall Primary School for a month, after finishing High School. I supported children in a Key Stage 1 classroom setting, helping them during English and Maths lessons. I supported them during their play activities during the school day. Additionally, I assisted in making a display for the classroom, that presented all of the children's artwork.

For part of my Duke of Edinburgh award, I volunteered at my local Beaver Scout Group. I supported the beavers during their art activities at the start of the session and then during practical activities that took place for the rest of the evening.
