I enjoy most types of art, particularly drawing with graphite pencils. I occasionally go to weekend art courses with a friend of mine to learn a new skill. Presentation is important to me and I have thoroughly enjoyed making displays at school, giving the children's work chance to be displayed, giving the children a sense of pride and a confidence boost.

I like to spend quality time with my family. I love to go on holidays with my partner, especially with our son. He is our proudest achievement, the day he graduated from university filled our hearts with pride.

I enjoy a game of darts in the local league (I am the team captain) and going for dog walks with my father and his black Labrador, Billy.

I thrive on making a difference to people's lives, especially children, I find it so rewarding and fulfilling, hence why most of my working life has been in schools.

I am always looking to further my knowledge and education further and welcome new skills and training, hence looking for a new challenge.
