Undertaken 18 week SILP Course - a tried and tested approach to reviewing cases, whether in the context of Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews, Safeguarding Adult Reviews, Domestic Homicide Reviews or any other form of learning activity.
Over the last 8 and a half years I have enjoyed gaining experience and building confidence in all aspects of General Practice.. I pride myself on excellent communication skills and have developed good relationships with colleagues and patients. I particularly enjoy women's health and child health, and this year I have completed a training course in SILP which will allow me to carry out independent Child Safeguarding Practice Reviews. My knowledge and experience of safeguarding is also useful in my roles as a Governor at a local primary school, and as a volunteer with Barnsley Youth Choir. I live in Horbury close to extended family, and very much like being a part of the local community. I enjoy Pilates, piano lessons, walking my 2 dogs and spending time with my husband and two young children.
