Kate Souza

A highly driven, self-motivated, and detail oriented graduate with a keen interest in security principles and risk management. Through studies and work experience I have deepened my understanding of criminal behaviour, security protocols and how to maintain a secure environment with required safety protocols. My degree has provided insight of the importance of stringent access control in high risk environments and the discipline when adhering to stringent procedures.

• I am passionate in practical craftsmanship, this can be seen in my various pieces of art styles such as; sketching, painting, crocheting and DIY.
• Over the years I have taken on multiple roles, volunteering at the NHS Dementia ward and as a children's liturgy teacher at my loyal parish.
• I was involved in the KSOC society during my three years in university. I initially started as a Graphic Designer, then transitioned to the Treasurer position. My final position in KSOC was my role as Vice President, where I effectively took on difficult decisions whilst providing entertaining functions for society members. This role heavily involved producing risk assessments and careful reporting for accidents and emergencies. These precautions were then forwarded to the necessary parties.
