Summary

I am a dedicated dance educator with extensive experience teaching Classical ballet and Contemporary dance technique to a diverse student demographic encompassing H.E., F.E., Vocational and pre-vocational levels. With my experiences performing and teaching in my dance career, my teaching ethos is grounded in my pedagogical knowledge of ballet and contemporary dance techniques and influenced by my exploration of dance eduction theories and research. I have demonstrable skills in creating material to support learning and assessment for Undergraduates and I enjoy teaching students of all abilities and ambitions. I promote the positive benefits that dance offers to enhance, improve and maintain wellbeing, underpinned with a 'dance for all' ethos throughout my teaching practice.
