In my spare time, I write young adult fiction novels. My debut novel was a double Goldie Award winner last year (in Best Debut Novel and Best YA Fiction categories). My next novel will be released in October 2023.
Over the past 23 years, my partner and I have built a very successful commercial property maintenance company, now managing over 100 industrial estates and offices for Asset Management companies throughout London and the South East. My responsibilities are overseeing marketing and communications, management accounts, and new business development. I also research new materials and negotiate contracts with suppliers and clients.

As Site Producer and Portal Manager, I was responsible for the user interface and accuracy of all content on the hugely popular Moneyextra.com website, and its representation/content partnerships on all our partners' platforms, ensuring that all information was up-to-date and compliant. My time at the company included the successful research, redesign, implementation, and launch of the new website, and the successful renegotiation of integrated content contracts with our portal partners (including Microsoft, Money Supermarket, Excite, Yahoo!, and U-Switch).
As Marketing Director of this internet start-up, before it was purchased, my role was to design and launch a user-friendly interface for Investhink's patented collective quote vendor interface. I worked with the design teams in Istanbul and New York (both remotely from London and travelling on-site) to launch an interface that the business development team could sell to clients worldwide. I worked with the Marketing Director in New York to formulate and execute an international marketing and events plan to maximise the impact of our launch and establish Investhink as an exciting one-stop-shop quote vendor interface for investors.
Following the purchase and merger of LIFFE and NYSE Euronext, I was promoted to Marketing Project Manager.
