Katarzyna Szymaszkiewicz

I am a qualified sterilie techician with a few years of experience in working at Wroclaaw emergancy hospital. My duties consisted of preparing the operation room for surgery, keeping the operation room clean and keeping all medical instruments sterile.

In this role I learnt to work well under pressure whilst being efficient and accurate. I ensured I followed the hospitals procedures in a timely and accurate manner. I learnt useful skills such as sign language and first aid which I believe can be adapted to other fields.

I have opened and managed my own buisness for around four years. This helped me aquire many useful skills such as preparing the store for opening and closing, manufacturing products with great attention to detail, budgeting finances, ordering supplies, promoting products using social media like Tiktok and also promoting and selling products through face-to-face events.

Throughout my previous employment in Tesco I learnt customer service, cash handling, meeting targets and teamwork. My duties consisted of re-stocking sheleves and operating tills. I had to work under-pressure to make sure shelves were always stocked and customers were served with care and consideration.
