Site Manager on a £50m refurbishment project, overseeing the conversion of an existing seven-storey hotel in central London into a fully operational healthcare facility comprising consultant rooms, therapy areas and three X-ray rooms. The project involved significant structural alterations and the installation of complex MEP services within the constraints of the existing building.
Oversaw site operations, managed a team of three site managers and an apprentice construction manager, collaborating with project leadership to ensure successful delivery of works.
Managed the technical challenges of adapting the existing structure to accommodate new MEP installations, oversaw the installation of a new electrical substation and coordinated work with third-party contractors and local authorities. I also managed the complex logistics associated with delivering a major construction project within the Centre of London.
Chaired weekly DTM and DAB meetings, allocated labour, provided programme updates, conducted client site visits and health and safety audits, and coordinated with Building Control and local authorities, while identifying and resolving on-site issues to maintain progress and ensure safe, efficient delivery to quality standards.
ISG Ltd – Tesco Fulfilment Centre 1st of its kind within the UK

Senior Site Manager on a £28m extension and refurbishment project to create a new automated fulfilment Centre within the existing Tesco superstore. The project involved reconfiguring the existing store to accommodate a major extension and the installation of a new automated online picking and fulfilment system. The work included significant structural alterations, including approximately 340 piles and a new reinforced concrete (RC) slab designed to support the robotic and automated systems, together with the installation of complex MEP services and two new sprinkler tanks.
Managed daily site operations, supervised a team of two site managers and around 50 operatives, collaborating with project leadership, subcontractors, and automation specialists to achieve successful project outcomes.
Key responsibilities included managing the technical and logistical challenges associated with extending and refurbishing existing buildings while the store remained fully operational and open to the public. This included overseeing the installation of a new fire main and coordinating works with third-party contractors, specialist suppliers and local authorities. I was also responsible for managing general maintenance and refurbishment (GM) works to the main store, with many works undertaken out of hours to minimise disruption and allow the store to continue trading during reduced opening hours.
