Working for BT, has been a great experience in customer service, upholding professionalism but still being able to have personal conversations with customers to make their experience as pleasant as possible. I have to be efficient and effective with my work to be able to solve all the issues customers may be facing. Also having to be knowledgeable, I have learnt and adapted quickly to my new setting being able to work independently and be intuitive.
I was baking and selling cookies. This role required me to maintain a clean workspace and work in a fast paced environment where I was doing multiple tasks at once and delivering great customer service. I was also required to work independently and in a team, meaning I was able to follow tasks but also take initiative when necessary to complete my work.
During my time in this job role, I was required to keep the hotel spa at the highest standard. This was achieved by setting myself schedules and keeping on track with routine cleaning procedures and going beyond to ensure all the finishing touches were complete to bring the space together. Another part of this job was occasionally covering for reception or the kitchen, this allowed me to be diverse and adaptable to what the job role required of me.
Here I was often in charge of the entire yard. I was required to keep riding lessons on schedule and prepare the horses for them. It was a very physically demanding job which was not an issue for me, often having to carry heavy items and lots of walking around to the field, around the yard etc. I was able to keep everything organised and appoint members of staff to jobs so that we could stay on track all day and finish on time.
