This involves daily maintenance and the up keep of the machines, but also the changing of parts when required.

In my role I also have to impose digital artworks by using an imposition software such as Fiery command workstation.

This makes print ready files for the printer to produce. These then have to be checked with originals and made sure to match the details of the job instructions.

My roles requires me to operate two iGen 150 digital presses at one time aswell as imposing digital artwork files on the fly and running multiple jobs at once. This has built up my skills of multi tasking and time management.

Manufacturing is a fast paced industry where you must meet dead lines and dispatch dates to keep your client base happy.

With my long background in this industry working to schedules I think I have become very adept at this and its become second nature.

My job also demands that you work with a shift team and work together to meet the demands of the client but also in a framework of a larger company with many different departments and staff members.
