  • In my current role I work in the finishing part of the plant, fettling the steel to a high standard for customer satisfaction. This involves using angle grinders and other equipment necessary for the job.
  • I quickly learned and applied new skills to daily tasks, improving efficiency and productivity meaning I can successfully deliver on tasks within tight deadlines.
  • I also have experience in the preparation area with good knowledge of the processes and procedures.
  • I have a full counterbalance licence and also a combi truck licence.
  • I drive overhead cranes, controlling the lifting of jigs carrying hanging steel for galvanising.
  • I have experience dipping the steel in the zinc and using the pot crane that encases the zinc bath.
  • During my time here I have show willingness to continue to develop my skills and worked extra over weekends to enable me to spend time learning more of the maintenance side of the cranes.
  • I am responsible for conducting stock checks for the company which shows I am a trusted member of the team.
  • I continuously demonstrate respect, friendliness and willingness to help wherever needed.
