Responsibilities were to read correspondence from the public were contesting against a penalty charge that were sent to them
I read the letter, look at pictures, go into their account, make sure I get all the information needed in order to make a decision as to whether they would still be liable to pay the charge and then to create letters based on my decision
My targets were to send a certain number of letters per shift as well as my letters were being checked to make sure I came to the correct conclusion and included all the correct information
Just like all my previous positions, impeccable timekeeping and attendance was essential which I adhered to at all times.

My duties were to take calls from customers who were reporting complaints and who were wishing to leave
My responsibility was to keep them a an o2 customer
I accomplished this by listening, showing empathy and solving their problems at first contact
As working in retentions, I would be navigating through multiple systems, sometimes 7 in one call whilst listening and asking questions to give them a great deal with a phone
Also, I would upsell for customers to buy extras such as tablets and watches
I would also deal with a lot of angry customers and filled in complaints forms
I would get each person to trust me and to go above and beyond to make sure the customer leaves the call satisfied
Targets would be to sell at least 3 phones a day and upsell a certain amount of adons such as tablets to earn a bonus
I would be marked by my calls on how I handled the customer and if I scored 110/120, I would pass

This could be reporting car accidents for signs to be placed due to ongoing work, flooding in properties, sewers bursting and flooding on roads

I would have to remain calm and empathic I was being shouted at and understand these are stressful times
I would have to take between 30 – 50 calls a day and be marked by my calls on how I handled the customer such as passing security, politeness, listening and showing empathy.

The role in my work experience which lasted for six weeks was an administrator
I took part in several assignments which included interacting with the public while asking them to answer a few questions on Coventry City for an assignment
