As a seasonal holiday cleaner I was responsible for cleaning the property, ensuring the incoming guests had sufficient supplies & liaising with my superiors to report any concerns & issues which may arise. I was also responsible for delivering & collecting the laundry.

As a Healthcare Assistant I worked in a number of settings which ranged from large care homes to individuals who resided in their own homes. I worked closely with colleagues to ensure individuals had excellent care which related to their physical & mental well-being. I was required to complete a number of online courses which related to gaining knowledge via the Newcross Website which I completed prior to starting employment.

As a payroll assistant I was responsible for creating/checking & delivering the wage slips of all departments within the factory setting of Kensey Foods in Launceston. I was also required to answer all queries by phone, email or in-person. This role required detailed checking of all employees wages before a physical wage slip was generated. As this role was new to me I undertook an intensive period of in-house training in order to complete all tasks effectively. I was required to become familiar with computer programmes & the way they functioned in order. I worked closely with colleagues in the personnel department in order to provide employees with advice on all aspects of finance with regard to their employment within both Kensey Foods & Ginsters.

During school holidays ( mainly the summer break) I worked as a support worker for young people who attended daily/weekly schemes run by Action for Children.This consisted of being responsible for a number of young people with regards to set activities within a specific centre as well as a variety of trips/visits to local attractions & areas of interest. After working as a support worker I also gained responsibility as an Assistant Team leader & liaised with the Scheme Team Leader in order to deliver, run & manage these holiday schemes.
