The above role was the most recent position prior to me officially retiring from the NHS in December 2025.

I have a lengthy history of working with mental health patients and their families dating back to 1980 and worked in many different departments and settings including community, in-patient and A & E. I have developed many skills along the way that contributed towards me becoming a strong autonomous practitioner as well as a team player.

I have had to develop excellent communication skills when liaising with patients, their families and other professionals and have always maintained a professional relationship with all.

I have completed accurate, detailed patient records to carefully monitor progress and improvements. I am IT literate and have been used to using various electronic records. I have been able to demonstrate resilience in high-pressure environments, ensuring quality care was maintained at all times.
