Kara Matthew

I am a dedicated professional with a lot of experience in customer service and conflict resolution. I demonstrate a hardworking attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure. I am proficient in child psychology and special needs experience, with a strong focus on play-based learning and creative activity planning. I am an active listener and encourage creativity, and problem-solving, ensuring a supportive and innovative environment for children. I am committed to fostering an imaginative and inclusive atmosphere that promotes growth and development. I have excellent timekeeping skills and work well within a team as well as alone. I strive to do my very best to achieve any goals that are set for me.

I have experience working with children, this can be seen through my placement for college. I also have experience in looking after children that have complex learning difficulties, due to my younger siblings having ADHD, Autism and Sensory processing disorder. This can be a challenge at times however I have looked after them from a young age and can confidently deal with these types of situations. I have also spent a lot of time around young children outside of the family home as friends have young children that I have been responsible for at times while they have been at work.
