Senior Data Quality Analyst

- Oversaw the integration of a new Global POS system with our current Data Architecture.
- As data would be propagated from a dummy POS system resembling this new Global POS, before it would be productionised, we assessed the Data Quality and Integrity at every stage of the End-to-End Flow, right from the source system all the way downstream to the concerned Tableau reports.
- Worked with Stakeholders, as well as other vendors and teams within TCS, to understand the requirements and define strict project timelines.
- Worked with all teams and vendors involved in the project to define the test requirements and execute the test scenarios and test cases.
- As the Unaudited and Audited Sales transaction data flowed through our Data Warehouse, we conducted thorough Data Quality Assessments at each of the Source, Staging, Storage and Presentation layers, before analysing the data that was finally reaching the Tableau reports, to ensure that it met the Quality standards and requirements established by Primark.
- Before the Global POS went live, we finally communicated our Data Quality Assessment approach as well as Insights and Test Results to Stakeholders, to ensure that the data met the required Quality standards, as well as adhered to Data Governance and Security policies.
Cybersecurity Risk Analyst

- Received ample raw data from Primark business, on a fortnightly basis, regarding all the different user accounts found on their Windows, Linux, and AIX systems.
- Audited this raw data, and extracted insights on proportions of different types of user accounts (i.e., privileged, service, associate accounts) on each system, proportions of compliant accounts, what types of machines/servers are these users’ sessions running on, etc.
- Used Tableau to translate these insights into a variety of visualisations and establish trends, on a fortnightly basis.
- These findings led to a 25% reduction in current IT security risks over the June-August 2024 timeframe, as well as an identification of 23 potential IT security risks, and measures needed to evade these, during this same time period.
- Completed the required training and received the ‘Privileged Access Management Administration for Partners’ certification from CyberArk.

- Sped up the rate at which the Data Engineering team were able to push implemented data solutions to Production, leading to an improvement from a 64% say-do ratio on average per sprint, from before I joined the team, to a 91% say-do ratio on average per sprint, in the next 4-month PI.
- Also saw a 30% increase from the previous 4-month PI to the current PI, in terms of commitment volume, i.e., the quantity of work we could deliver, and the complexity of the data solutions we could implement.

Career Goals
Currently working in the QA side of Data Analytics, I am keen to transition to a Data Analyst role.
During my career so far, I have always taken the initiative to learn new skills and technologies, outside my day-to-day work, to propel my career further, such as Python, Machine Learning, and Azure.
I am eagerly looking for opportunities to put these skills from the certifications I have achieved into practice, in a hands-on project.
Having worked on on-premise technology, such as Teradata, I am keen to diversify my hands-on skillset by working on cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure/Fabric and Snowflake.
Alongside project work, I am also keen to keep upskilling by working towards more qualifications, such as Fabric DP-600 and DP-700, SnowPro Core, and other cloud technologies such as AWS and GCP.
In the future, I am looking to transition from a Data Analyst to a Data Engineer or other senior Data roles.
