As a young professional with 13 years experience in the hospitality industry I pride myself on the wide skill sets I have to offer. I have great confidence in my culinary skills and being able to deliver high quality dishes and also working in a team, leading when required.
I have great business acumen and understand the whole process of running a culinary business from budgeting, ordering, stock, menu planning, creating dishes, marketing, payroll, compliance, customer experience, developing staff, health and safety just to name a few.
I have a well rounded overview of what is needed to create a great work environment.
My career highlights would be becoming an executive chef as that really challenged me on an operational level and helped me grow on a personal level as a person. It made me understand that I can very quickly learn new skills that I had previously not recognised.
Returning back to the Farmhouse after such a long period helped me mark my progress in my career. Not only was I able to run the kitchen I was once a commis in, I was able to bring many ideas to the table to help elevate its already well known reputation in being an innovative and popular venue.
Each place of work has come with good memories and challenges that have made me develop myself as a chef but also as a person.
I have grown through hard work, long hours and immense pressure to become of value in the industry and locally I believe people have a strong and positive opinion of me. I look forward to the future as I think I have a lot to offer and I want to continue to grow and see what opportunities are yet to come through my career.
Food is my life ! I love creating, eating and experiencing food as it brings people together and creates lasting memories you create around it.
