The job role includes working in environments with temperatures as cold as -12 degrees and working overnight.

Since working for Toby Carvery I have had the opportunity to wider my career and learn to work well in a team in a fast paced environment.

- Checking freezer and refrigerator temperatures regularly, maintaining produce quality and safety.
- Inventoried food, ingredient and supply stock to prepare and plan vendor orders.
- Maintaining strict food health, hygiene and safety standards for ongoing kitchen compliance.

- Preventing allergen cross-contamination through meticulous food preparation, cooking and plating.
During year 10 of high school I undertook a 1 week placement for work experience in a local garage Colman’s Garage.
While my short time here I was able to observe experienced members of staff to get a understanding of the role.
