My name is Kambe Ojunta. I am a recent college graduate. I have studied abroad in India for the last 5 years- living in a boarding school with many people has been amazing experience having growing up with people who have different backgrounds has been the best eye opener; those years have given me a perspective on different cultures and improved my communication skills. I have quick learner with academic and knowledge abilities to succeed in different roles. I studied both science and humanities in A Levels; Biology, chemistry and History. I have diverse interests that I believe will help me in the workforce. But I am also ready to expand horizons with additional knowledge and abilities gained from training and experience. I am always ready to help others and put in time to support my community. Engaging in roles that foster empathy and leadership, I contribute actively to team discussions and initiatives. Eager to learn and adapt, I aim to leverage my experiences to support projects and drive positive outcomes.

- As a School Prefect in a boarding school, I acted as a role model and liaison between staff and students. When a bullying incident arose, I led an open discussion so everyone could feel heard and understood. In this role, I supervised my younger peers during lunch breaks, helping maintain safety, harmony, and proactively addressing behavioural problems.
- On Dorm Night, in which my co-prefect and I played games and sometimes baked for the dorm we were looking after. I have also Represented student body in meetings with school staff, voicing concerns and suggestions for school improvements.
- This role taught me empathy, tact, and emotional regulation. Used and displayed excellent leadership skills throughout tasks, including confidence, initiative and effective problem-solving.
- I have thoroughly enjoyed doing it as it brought me closer to many of the people in the school, and it taught me how to be more responsible in a kind, gentle, but firm way.

- I also love sports, and playing football, hockey, and basketball has strengthened my teamwork skills and resilience while being a fun outlet for stress. Being the Athletics Captain, I am responsible for organising practices and assisting during the interschool competition and Sports Day. It’s a fulfilling role that allows me to support and encourage my peers in tournaments.
