• During my psychiatry placement, I worked in a split post between the Early Intervention Team and the Community Mental Health Wellbeing Team. This role provided me with rich, hands-on experience in assessing and managing a range of psychiatric conditions across different settings. I was actively involved in new patient assessments for suspected psychosis alongside mental health nurses, and I regularly attended urgent care settings including A&E and mental health hospitals for crisis assessments.
• I had excellent clinical supervision, which supported my development in diagnostic skills, risk assessment, and formulation. I gained significant experience in managing neurotic disorders and became confident in prescribing commonly used antidepressants, with a clear understanding of their side effects and monitoring requirements.

I worked in the Departement of internal medicine at the busiest hospitals in Hampshire, Queen Alexandra Hospital as SHO.
