● Providing a friendly, welcoming, and efficient service to all Service Users, in line with our vision and values on Service User satisfaction.
● To undertake a host of duties, including meeting, greeting, and attending to the needs of Service Users, to ensure a superb SU experience.
● Ensure the delivery of all services comply with relevant legislation and regulations. Provide specific advice and support both in person, via telephone, email, and on Initial Accommodation (IA); on areas relating to housing i.e., Occupancy agreements, repairs, housing/tenancy support.
● To administer the general petty cash system and float in an accurate manner.
● Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
● Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure proper kitchen closing procedures, including equipment shutdown and the secure storage of flammable materials.
● Maintain the hotel's fire safety protocols, conducting regular checks and ensuring all staff are trained in emergency procedures.
● Aid, advise, and provide information to Service Users on the full range from, requesting a GP, to addressing minor room repairs when needed (e.g., repairs) to ensure all contractual responsibilities are met.
● Update management information systems (Meraki) and databases with, for example, data relating to Service User profiling, Occupancy agreements, Operational Audits, Incident reports, and Internal Moves.
● To investigate and report possible key breaches of the Occupancy Agreement in incident reports e.g., cooking, smoking, drinking in rooms.
● To provide reports i.e., on management transfers or casework and actions
● Identify the need for and promote Service User participation and community development initiatives.
● As housing officer I deal with all the departments of the company such as info, incidents, food, procurement, laundry., etc.
● Contribute to the successful delivery of all KPIs within the Housing Management Officer remit.
