Personal Information

Working at Puccini's has taught me a variety of valuable skills that has shaped both my professional and personal growth. One of the most important lessons that I have learnt is how to work quickly and efficiently in high pressured situations and keeping calm in a fast paced environment.

During my shifts, I have to know how to take orders face to face as well as taking orders over the phone. There have been many different occasions when the restaurant has been busy and I have had to take on multiple tasks at once.

I have been able to develop my teamwork and communication skills whilst working in this environment, as well as my organisational skills. Another responsibility that I have gained is to cash up the money from the till at the end of each shift. Handling customer complaints is another important aspect of the job. I have learned how to stay calm, listen actively and resolve any issues in a professional manner.

As well as customer interactions, I also have to take care of other responsibilities such as cleaning and securing the building at the end of my shifts.
