At the manor house, my work largely contributes to: -

• Review, research, and develop proposals for how the house is interpreted.
• Improve interpretation of the building using 'up-to-date museological ideas and methods.
• Producing reports on interpretation, and developing stories that help Ilkley Manor House connect to family audiences.
• Proposing short-term, and long-term plans to create the social history of the house.

While being a cotton detective, my work as a volunteer largely contributed to: -

• Creation of the fascinating story of cotton and its remarkable impact on different cultures and communities in India and Europe through the exhibition 'Cotton Detectives.'
• Providing creative ideas that pique visitors' interest in cotton's singular impact on the development of fashion, identity, trade, and the environment.
• Helping in setting up the exhibition.

As an art curator, I was responsible for:-

• Maintaining, interpreting, and communicating the cultural and historical relevance of the collected artworks in my capacity.
• Conducting thorough research, verifying each piece to ensure its origin and integrity.
• Managing the exhibition's delicate balance between exhibiting well-known pieces and supporting up-and-coming talent.
• Curating exhibitions with up-to-date museological terms, and technologies.
• Creating a balance between the exhibition space and Artists.
• Coordinating exhibitions at museums and art galleries to showcase priceless works.

As a deputy Editor, I was responsible for:-

• Collaborating with the graphics department to develop and implement visual elements.
• Interviewing sources and reaching out to informants to obtain stories.
• Generating strategic content for special projects to achieve specific objectives.
• Using reference sources to verify dates, facts, and statistics to maintain trust among target readers.
• Proofreading content to guarantee the publishing of accurate and error-free text.
• Planned budgets and negotiated contracts with freelance writers.
• Optimising SEO and design of written content for publication across various platforms.

In my customer- facing role as an event manager, my responsibility was:-

• Paying and settling with vendors, venues, staff and contracted services.
• Interviewing clients to understand event scopes of work, establishing budgets and timelines.
• Coordinating with photographers, videographers and musicians for seamless rehearsals.
• Leveraging industry knowledge and vendor relationships to source high-quality event supplies and services.
• Planning and efficiently organised activities, details and timelines for large- and small-scale events.
