Summary

Accomplished A level student currently at Copleston Sixth form, eager to apply knowledge and loyalty in my chosen career. Experienced in working in team environments, with a reputation for hard work, attention to detail, consistency, and willingness to learn new things.

When I'm not at Sixth Form and studying, I enjoy watching Football and F1, I have an interest in the analytical side of it as I like to look at stats to prove points. I also enjoy playing video games as a form of catharsis. As well as hang out and chill with friends when we are all free, at the gym or socialising.

Junior Buyer Work Experience

ISG
Ipswich, Suffolk
2024.06 - 2024.06

Back when I was in high school, we were assigned to go on a two week work experience where we were monitored by a key person, I chose to be a junior buyer as at the time I had weak communication skills and I wanted to develop them, as being a junior buyer would mean that I would have to be in an office environment and talking on the phone and on emails, this was beneficial also as it correlated with the topics that I had taken in school and helped me later on when I took my GCSEs as I got a perspective from inside on how businesses like ISG work.

Glass collector

The Feathers
Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

When staying with my Dad in Aylesbury, I am often helping out around his pub, The Feathers. Because I have just turned 18, this was mainly glass collecting, and wiping tables down, loading the glass washer, and putting glasses away safely and tidy. At busy times, it could get very busy, so I would ensure quick turnover, to set a good impression to customers, and securing availability of tables and drinks.

Youth Football Coach

Holbrook Hornets
Ipswich, Suffolk
2024.09 - 2026.04

From 2019-2024 I was playing youth football for Coplestonians which is also based locally, but personally I felt i was stronger with the intelligence and theory, rather than the physical playing, so that encouraged me to go into coaching. Since the start of coaching, I have grown in my social skills by talking to the parents on how they think we can improve and take in ideas as well as give advice on how their children can improve. This in turn has enabled me to give and receive criticism, as well as praise and encouragement. I have also learnt to work in a team as there are 5 coaches between two teams to optimise their growth, as well as lead by giving team talks, ultimately improving team skills whilst it still being a hobby

Certificate Information

  • I decided to do these online work experience courses as I want to one day be able to work and operate in these sectors.
  • During these courses, I gained hands-on skills in content creation, post scheduling, audience engagement and performance tracking across all social media platforms. I developed an understanding of social media strategies, brand communication, and how analytics are used to optimise reach and engagement in a professional marketing environment.
  • This was completed to pursue part-time employment in this sector. During this course, I developed and learnt customer service skills, how to assist with stocking and product displays, how to handle basic transactions, and maintain a clean and organised store area. This experience also strengthened my knowledge of retail operations, workplace responsibility, and readiness to apply these skills in a practical supermarket setting.
  • I completed certified work experience programmes in data analysis to pursue a career in this field. During these experiences, I gained knowledge of practical skills in data collection, cleaning, analysis, and interpretation, using analytical tools to extract meaningful insights. The programmes strengthened my problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and understanding of how data supports informed decision making in a professional environment. It would be my dream to work in the data analytics sector as I really enjoy going through graphs and picking out anomalies, and analysing trends over periods of time.
