Whilst working at Cwtch Childcare I was able to developed trusting relationships with children, parents and staff. In addition I maintained clean, safe play environments, disinfecting toys and surfaces regularly. I handled nappy changes while keeping detailed log sheets and attended regular training opportunities to expand professional knowledge and further career progression.

As a senior I oversaw key group of children and kept detailed progress observations, as well as overseeing the staff team; mentoring and motivating them.

I made sure to encouraged physical fitness and wellbeing through outdoor activities and tailored activities to make use of resources and engage all children based on their age, interests and abilities.

I also took the time to help with the administrative side, ensuring all documents are completed and up to date whilst also being to hand to help with children's application or permission forms. I was also asked to review staff performance regularly to maintain safe, compliant care and report back to management to support and guide staff members.

I worked as a Nursery Practitioner at The Laurels Day Nursery, where I provided high-quality care and support to young children. I created a safe and nurturing environment for their growth and development, implementing age-appropriate activities and routines. I was able to:
