PI-NEXT Automation And Regression

• I have owned 11 testbeds of different flavours of physical devices C9300, C9200, C8500, C9500, logical based C8000V and IOL having test cases of 8K+ working for Cisco Systems.
• Apart from regression activity, involved in building topology for 2 new testbeds, handling private sanity requests, Integration, porting the scripts to tools called Regaas, Xpresso and Firex one after the other, as well as re-integration of backlog scripts left due to setup issues, pending hardware.
• Received appreciation from the team and client as well for moving 60 pending iol scripts to 7 , bgp based suites in Virtual machine from 114 to 0 in a span of 1.5 months and ported 200+ scripts to Xpresso tool.
• Trained and mentored junior engineers by providing guidance and direction.
• Appreciation received from customer team, and internal organization on various occasions. Awarded 2 times champion and 3 STAR awards during this time frame.

ATC Regression

• I have joined as a Junior tester into the ATC project supported by Cisco systems. Here I have handled regression tasks for different testbeds having scripts based on Python and TCL of various routing concepts as OSPF, RIP, EIGRP etc.
• It includes taking the build, copying and loading images in to the devices, checking on basic configuration, execution of suites, keeping copy of results, exporting the results to a tool, addressing failures, and filing bugs, script changes based on the issues come across.
• During this time I have handled CAT9300, C8000V Virtual Machines and ISR4400 based testbeds.
• Yang, ipsla, routing protocol based suites are comprised in the testbeds owned during this time.
• I owned 30% testbeds based on programmability scripts initially. Within 2 months of handling them, my owning of these suites went from 30% -100% and become a SPOC.
• I have received ERS Champion Award for bringing the testbeds to old phase and running suites effectively during Lab Transition by overcoming all setup, environment issues.

As an Academic Trainee at HCL Technologies, I was part of a comprehensive training program designed to equip me with essential skills in software testing and quality assurance.

• Successfully completed the training program and gained practical knowledge in QA tools and testing techniques.
• Collaborated with the team to enhance the testing process, contributing valuable insights into defect tracking and resolution.
