Summary

I am an experienced Social Worker who has worked in a variety of roles within Herefordshire Children's Services since qualifying as a Social Worker in 2017. There have been many changes and challenges during this time however I have remained committed to improving the outcomes for the children of Herefordshire. I am passionate about good social work practice and seek to embed restorative approaches ensuring work is child focused and respectful towards the families we work with.

Within each role I have worked in I have supported with the learning and development of others through shadowing opportunities and modelling good practice, mentoring other social workers and supporting student social workers in their placement. Throughout this work I have used different reflective methods to apply theory, legislation and research to practice. As a Senior Practitioner I have contributed to maintaining high-quality, timely service delivery in collaboration with team managers, and undertaking supervisory roles for family support workers.
