MSMR Architects:
I willingly participated in work experience with MSMR architects based in an office. During my time here I demonstrated great professional communication and social skills and this required clear communication and teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment which I was able to meet. I interpreted an understanding of what their job consists of and payed attention to detail in technical drawings. Although I had limited prior knowledge to the industry, I quickly adjusted to new tasks and absorbed industry knowledge in a faced pace environment which I could transfer to any new challenge I may come across in future work due to my adaptability and advanced learning skills. I also have another three days of work experience lined up on 27-29/10/25 where I will work alongside professional architects who will train me to use AutoCAD software to further develop my technological skills which can be applied to my future job in the office.
Lloyd's Bank-
I will be taking part in Lloyd's Banking groups work experience programme, gaining exposure to the banking and finance sector through workshops, networking and insight sessions. I will learn directly from senior leaders. apprentices, and graduates about key industry practices, application processes and career development which will improve my knowledge to future roles. This will allow me to develop an understanding of how global financial services support customers and drives change with focus on innovation which will benefit both my professional development and work environment.
Duke of Edinburgh Bronze:
I voluntarily chose to participate in this award to strengthen teamwork and to overcome challenges faced as a team including coordination and data reading. I gained a valuable experience working collaboratively with peers, problem solving in challenging environments, communication, resilience and committing time outside of school to personal development in order to benefit my career skills and develop social skills.
Prefect role:
I was selected to represent my school in leadership which required me to be a confident and responsible individual and share ideas in a team in order to work together to improve the school community, supporting staff and adding input from a different perspective. This role highlights integrity, reliability and the ability to show professionalism in roles of authority.
Academic success:
Consistently achieved top results across all my subjects demonstrating my dedication, perseverance, focus and strong ability to learn and apply information quickly. I have frequently supported my peers with their studies which further strengthened communication and developed my mentoring skills. These experiences highlighted analytical ability, and willingness to support others in achieving shared goals.
Competitive Sports:
I gladly participated in many competitions in my free time alongside school including Football, Badminton and Netball showing my hard work in anything I do. However, I am particularly passionate about Cross Country, Dance and Athletics where I have won many awards showing my ability to perform under pressure, my drive for success and my discipline. Competitive experience reflects commitment to goals, time management and a strong work ethic while balancing training and competition with academic commitments, thriving in both areas.
