Dr. Angus Cameron's lab: The Rho effector PKN kinases regulate tight junctions and mechanotransduction. The project explored regulation of cell-cell adhesion and YAP/TAZ-TEAD signalling downstream of Rho- PKN in cancer cell-line models.
Culinary Specialist and Combat Interpreter for the US Army during the 56th Korea Combat Training Centre War Simulation
Amongst the founding team in the discovery and developmental of a novel therapeutic drug targeting the anti-ageing Klotho protein. Was able to find a HIT and LEAD compound which was later used for in vivo experimentation as well as Phase I clinical trials. This novel therapeutic drug will be used to slow down the degradation of KL proteins in order to mitigate severe Alzheimer symptoms (not prevent the disease).
Drafted and finalised an Investment Review for investors to raise capital and proceed towards Phase II, III and IV of the clinical trials.
Still working for FDA approval.
Project: Made educational poster and pamphlets for Saxenda usage. Collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Welfare to educate the public on Saxenda as an anti-diabetic medication.
Dr. Lee Yun Hee's lab: MicroRNA-10a regulates macrophage polarization and promotes therapeutic adipose tissue remodeling. The project was on aging-Induced Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor in Adipocyte Progenitors Contributes to Adipose Tissue Dysfunction
Worked at the information centre to provide assistance for elderly patients in the Oncology Ward. Job entitled: providing support towards elderly patients, filling out basic forms and documents for nurses and registrars.
Worked, as the head editor, with Prof. Jesse Bettinger from Johns Hopkins University to write a research article surveying the Convergence of Top-Down and Bottom-Up Models Underwriting Interoceptive Awareness and the Insula.

ORGANISING MEMBER AND VOLUNTEER - KOREA OPEN DOCTOR SOCIETY , Helped the Korean Open Doctors Society (KODS) organised a medical volunteering at underdeveloped provinces in Vietnam. The volunteering delegation included 24 Korean doctors, pharmacist, nurses and volunteers whom provided free medical treatment and checkup for the local community. The organisation aims to help improve the living conditions of the local people, as well as to enhance mutual understanding of Vietnamese and Korean.
