Summary

Additionally alongside my work experience, I think it would be important to showcase other areas where my skill sets have been beneficial. As I'm young but infinitely curious, I've dabbled in a few areas that I want to explore more with assistance through my current and past teachers, coaches and mentors- these involve:

Youth mentorship programme- where I gained experience as a mentor for kids in younger year groups. I really enjoyed this as it allowed me to use my creativity and experience to help guide younger people with school, their interests and overall life navigation. I enjoyed building rapports with the people I mentored and I believe it taught me how to convey my ideas in a more practical and tailored manner.

Rugby scholarship (Bloxham Private School)- During my time with the former Wasps Rugby academy I managed to learn several personal development skills that allowed me to land a scholarship opportunity at a well known private school for rugby. The skills consisted of discipline, persistence, teamwork, delegation and identifying ways I could use my leverage to benefit our team as a whole. Unfortunately I didn't go through with the scholarship due to financial reasons, but it was a great opportunity that taught me several valuable life skills.

Assisting foreign exchange students- As I'm currently in college, my college runs a programme with a university in France, where their students come for a term and live in England and experience student life abroad. With my fluency in French, I've assisted several students by bridging communication gaps, assisting with tours, helping students individually with recommendations and with translation.

Coaching- During my time playing rugby, as I played for a well known academy, I used to help coach players in similar positions to me in my school, college and local team. It proved to be beneficial to the players because I'm able to give clear ways to develop skill sets with ways to implement the coaching they had received.

There are several other examples that I could talk about (such as being involved in a youth scholarship programme with Oxford University in year 9, assisting others develop their confidence with performance etc) but I believe that these shouldn't define my potential at being valuable to businesses and individuals because everyday is another day to learn for me. With more experience in areas I'm interested in, I believe that I'm able to provide value and learn quicker, that's why I'm keen on reaching out and seeking opportunities. I want to thank you for reading, I hope you may take the time to consider me as a suitable fit for you, have a good day!
