Summary

20 year's experience of working directly and indirectly professional career to support people with alcohol addiction. Working on DWP contracts for 14 year's to support clients with drug, alcohol and poor mental health into training, employment and education. Gained drug and alcohol counseling qualifications through Leicester University to further equip to better support clients alongside personal recovery and experience. Instrumental in managing contacts to promote support for individuals not only with alcohol addiction, but to support in a holistic way, including signposting clients to the programme of Alcoholics Anonymous. Managing staff coupled with excellent people skills has equipped me well to understand people and in turn the ability to support in an effective way.

For the past 6 years I have been employed by Derbyshire County council as Programme Development Manager for 14-19 years olds in education who face many barriers to learning. I am outgoing and approachable and passionate about the programme of Alcoholics Anonymous.
