  • To act as the key point of contact and engagement for the information and advice sector, ensuring the stakeholder contact list is developed and maintained, and that the sector is kept abreast of opportunities to shape and contribute to the communications and events planned.  Support the Head of Social Welfare Advice and DWP Policy in terms of any research and evaluation or promoting efforts to improve the overall quality of information and advice in Wales and to achieve greater consistency and understanding in terms of measuring the need for access to information advice services.
  • To support the Head of Social Welfare Advice and DWP Policy to identify opportunities for greater collaboration between providers from within all sectors, with the ultimate aim of improving the client’s experience and the quality and effectiveness of the advice provided. The post holder will have regular interaction with a range of stakeholders at a national, regional and local level.
  • To work with Welsh Ministers; Welsh Government staff; the Chair of the National Advice Network and a range of stakeholders from amongst not-for-profit and private advice providers, funders of advice services and representatives from related services to support the development of a common and more strategic approach to the way advice services are planned and delivered in Wales.
