Over the past year as a Learner Mentor I've supported young people both in college and during offsite work experience placements. I've loved helping students build practical skills they can use to gain paid or voluntary work after college, as well as develop valuable life skills and greater independence. This role has strengthened my ability to adapt to support to individual needs, communicate effectively and encourage confidence in real-world settings. I've also had the pleasure of working alongside a passionate, supportive team, all committed to helping young people achieve their goals.
