I am a qualified registered nurse with over 30 years of experience in general nursing. I am currently working as a primary nurse in nurse-led healthcare at HMP Kirkham, where I have worked for the last nine years. I thoroughly enjoy this role but now feel I would like to progress and move towards new challenges. Working as a primary care Clinical Lead Nurse in a prison nurse-led healthcare setting has given me great experience in team leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and regularly monitoring a busy unit. I have a thorough understanding of the requirements for emergency, triage treatment and delivery in the changes that have been put in place to make them possible safely and successfully. I practice per the NMC Code of Conduct and adhere to the NHS Trust policies, guidelines, and procedures. I am committed to continuing professional development and will endeavour to attend any relevant training courses to increase my knowledge and skills. I currently hold a full-time position, I can ensure continuity and a consistent approach to healthcare needs.
