I have worked within Admin/office environment for most of my working life since leaving school with only taking breaks on maternity leave. I am highly motivated and a committed individual, I enjoy working as part of a team and have been in my current position for 18 years which I feel shows my level of commitment to an employer. Unfortunately the company is re-structuring and I am at risk of redundancy so therefore am seeking alternative employment as I want to take it as an opportunity to seek a new challenge. I can be flexible with hours – have a friendly telephone manner – have good customer service skills and feel I would be an asset to a new employer – I am looking to move more to a reception/admin role and away from an Accounts environment after being in Accounts for 18 years.

  • My current position involves all aspects of purchase ledger – entering/approving invoices onto the system, dealing with invoice queries, answering the phone, making bacs payments, assisting the Accounts Manager with transferring money and entering pro-forma payments, I also look after the credit control – chasing payments – releasing accounts from hold for despatch of goods – monitoring credit limits – applying for new credit limits with our credit insurance company. Any other accounts duties as and when required including helping with audit queries etc.
