I'm in my final year of training as a Clinical Psychotherapist and looking to continue working in the charity sector, focusing on one-to-one support and making a real difference. After 16 months at the food bank, I have worked closely with vulnerable individuals facing housing insecurity, financial hardship, and complex challenges. This experience has deepened my understanding of the barriers people face when trying to access support and how crucial it is to provide consistent, non-judgmental guidance.
I’m passionate about helping people build stability, dignity, and belonging. Through my work, I have seen firsthand how vital it is to offer both practical assistance and emotional support, building trusting relationships with those navigating hardship. This has strengthened my commitment to working directly with people in need, and I would love the opportunity to bring my experience and dedication to St Mungo’s.
I appreciate the simple joys in life, like sharing a meal with friends—sometimes with a glass of wine to make it even more special. I enjoy cinema and ballet, admiring the creativity and expression they bring. Cycling and yoga help me stay active, and lately, I’ve been enjoying learning new cooking skills. Traveling and spending time in nature are important to me, offering a sense of balance and perspective. I also find fulfillment in volunteering and meditation, which help me stay grounded and connected to my community.
