In my current role with LCCC, I am based at CHGC, where I work as a Receptionist
The primary functions of my role include, but are not limited to the following:-
Dealing with enquiries, bookings, payments, sales and customer comments and complaints, with all Club Customers
Providing exemplary standards of Customer care, both face to face and by telephone and email
Having a thorough knowledge of all IT systems related to the business of the Golf Club, including, Microsoft Word, Excel, 'Legend' Leisure Software booking and payment system, along with the ability to manage the BRS Golf Booking system
Managing Pay & Play bookings on a daily basis
Managing all Membership categories of the Golf Club, including, but not limited to, initial enquiries and registration of new Members
Setting up appropriate payment methods, monitoring payments and income streams, addressing any financial anomalies, and where necessary, liaising with customers to ensure that any delays or errors in payment are addressed and resolved in line with Council fiscal policies
Extensive knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace
Thorough knowledge of, and adherence to all relative Council Policies and Procedures, for example - GDPR, Child & Vulnerable Adult Safeguarding, Fire & Safety etc
It is worthy of note that when I initially started as a Casual employee, my primary function was to deal with the day to day running of the Golf Club
However since I became a contracted employee (May 2022), I have subsequently embraced all the above duties and responsibilities, but furthermore have been specifically tasked by the Golf Club Manager, to manage all Memberships for the Golf Club and to take responsibility for all aspects of the Membership process
This includes all billing and payments, which I have managed professionally, effectively and efficiently to the satisfaction of both Management and Golf Club Members.
